I’ve tried getting into egl fashion, but it’s fairly inaccessible.  I love looking at it, and it feels awesome to wear, but it’s too hard to buy authentic clothing…..
It seems this way with a lot of the fashion I like.  Steampunk for example.  Oh, the brass goggles and airships!  How romantic!  But, again, as resourceful as the diy look is, I’d rather wear something …..reliable.  Designed.

Eh.  So is life, I suppose.

After my computer crashed, I have yet to really get it up and running again.  I still haven’t put AIM back on it, nor reinstalled my printer.  There are tons of things I haven’t gotten back on track.  I feel like just giving up…  a little apathetic, sadly.

Oh!  I got back on the Wii again, today, to check on my town in Animal Crossing: City Folk.  According to my villagers, I’ve been gone for 2 months.  What a long time!  I love the bedhead look, though.  >w<
We’ll see how long I can keep that hairstyle.  I got the princess birdcage thing at half off, though.

After playing Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, I’ve decided to buy it.  Well, I only have it on loan from a friend, and have only played it until rescuing Nel Zelfer(?) in Airyglyph, but that’s enough that I went out and bought my own copy.  xD

I just finished watching DMC; what an entertaining series!!  Ah, I love it.  Jagi-sama is definitely my favorite, but the ending song is catchy.  I get it stuck in my head very often, amai amai amai amai koibito~
And, of course, the opening song, satsugai, satsugai seyo!! I’m looking for the tribute cd, but no luck so far.  Poor Negishi-kun, but what a good Krauser he is!  I’m lucky I watched it subtitled, I think my family would have given me odd looks, had they known what I was watching.  The next series I plan to watch is Spice and Wolf.  The farthest I’ve gotten is the 3rd episode before I have to get back to real life.  Oh, I’m a sad excuse for a closet otaku…..  ;A;

I just bought an issue of cosMAKE, and it looks pretty helpful.  I think I’m still planning on cosplaying as Yoko Kurama and Major Kusanagi at this year’s Otakon.  There was a bit of trouble with commissioners, and money’s still tight.  Mother’s Day and my sister’s birthday and graduation are all coming up, and I’m kind of really bad at budgeting when it comes to spending for other people.

I’m searching for copies of Welcome to the NHK! and Godchild, but the local bookstores don’t have much.  I’m trying to follow Mixed Vegetables and Otomen, but I can’t find later volumes.  I gave up trying to follow Life and Suppli because I just can’t find the books.

-sigh-  Summer vacation’s here!!  Time to make some money!!

I’ve just finished, hopefully, shopping for my sister’s birthday and graduation presents.  Can’t say what yet, but I think she’ll be pleased.  I’ve spent so much money, unfortunately, and I’m crossing my fingers that nothing else catches my eye.

I don’t know if I’m cosplaying at this year’s Otakon anymore….  The commissioner we hired to make our Yoko Kurama and Kuronue costumes has been unresponsive, and I’m still working on the money for a Major and Kuze duo.

Work’s not getting any better.  Too much distance between me and my coworkers.  Ah well…. story of my life.

Advent Children is coming to blu-ray!!  No fair!  I just don’t have enough money for all this.  Here‘s the article.  I recently saw the new DSi, the limited edition Phoenix Wright one, it’s so cute!!  With the Blue Badger on the front!  I still don’t know if the DSi is worth buying, but it looks decent.  I’m debating on whether to buy Trapt for PS2 or not.

I haven’t gotten on the Wii in a while.  Looking for a more engaging game to get for it.  Also considering looking for new employment.  I need to make more money, but who doesn’t these days?  My first job, I made 33USD / hour, and I’m down at minimum wage; it’s a bit depressing.

Oh, I recently saw Dragonball: Evolution.  Mmh, I think, as a fan of the anime, my opinion is strongly biased…..  It was… a decent movie in its own right, I suppose.  I couldn’t really get into it.   I mean, it’s a fun way to spend the night, hanging out with friends, but I wouldn’t buy the movie.

I want to change my name.  Rather, I want to be called something other than my given name.  I’m still deciding on this.

Money’s really tight, lately.

Ugh, I got myself into cosplaying 3 different people this year!!  Yoko Kurama ( YuYu Hakusho ), Motoko Kusanagi ( Ghost in the Shell ), and a Pokemon Trainer ( Pokemon ).  I don’t know how in the world I’m going to afford it……

My job’s not getting any better, and I’ve picked up applications.  Hopefully, somewhere a bit nicer will hire me.  It’s just lame to not like school, work, or home.  I mean, there should be somewhere I like going, right?

Meh, now I have Loop and Loop by Asian KungFu Generation stuck in my head, from looking at my last post.  Good song, but not what I’m in the mood for, right now.

Now, I’m watching 5×2.  I don’t know why I’m watching all these foreign films, lately.

I feel like I’m stuck.  As soon as I make money, I need to pay something off.  As soon as I make a friend, they betray me.  As soon as I get my sister to speak to me again, one of our parents says something and they both turn against me.

I think, I haven’t grown since 5th or 6th grade.  Oh well…….

I think I meant to type something, but I can’t remember what it might have been…….

Now that I have my PSP, my sister won’t talk to me…..  I mean, not that she really did before, either, but still…..

It’s nice hanging out with guys……  I mean, I know they’re not my friends, but, hey, I’ll take what I can get until they figure out that they really don’t like me.
I think I’m going to go to a local college bookstore and see if I can pick up some Japanese textbooks.  If not, oh well, I tried.  Something like language would definitely be a fun major.  Psyche, too.  But, I’m in art.  Bleh.  I love art, but not the classes….

I bought a Ghost in the Shell game for my PSP, and luckily, so far, everything I’ve bought for it works.  Because it’s a Japanese import, I’m worried that some domestic stuff won’t work on it, but I’ve read that it’ll read any region games, just the movies have to be region 2.  So….. I’ll keep pressing my luck until I spend some ridiculous amount of money on something that doesn’t work and then throw a quiet fit about it.

I work tonight.  Oh boy, I can’t wait.  I want a new job, but in this economy, I’m kind of hesitant to quit my current one.  I’ve picked up applications, but so far, no go.

Losing weight is really hard!!  I mean, I’ve never actually tried before.  I just kind of let my weight fluctuate, no big deal.  But when I started college, I gained 20 lbs.  And, now into my second year, I still haven’t been able to get rid of it.  So, I’m twenty pounds larger than I remember myself being, and I’m beginning to hate it.  Sure, I’ve never fit into the clothes I wanted to just because of my build, but I’m finding that I really hate being at the weight I’m currently at.

I’ve kind of slacked at City Folk.  I need so much money for Otakon this year!!  I think I underestimated the amount of cash I would have to put up for a costume…. and I still want spending money…..
Ugh, this is hard!  And, heh, you know I love spending money~  xDD
No, but, really, it was a heck of a lot for the PSP, now I have to get something ultra expensive for my sister’s birthday, and then my costume, aaand spending money.  Of course, this is all on top of bills and such.  ><
I need a real job.  Or a substantial raise.

I have no one to rant to, so unfortunately, this blog and my notebook get the bulk of my negative thoughts.  I have to remember to keep this positive, sometimes, too.

But I got my PSP!!  And I bought, separately, the earpiece to go with it.
I went and got a memorystick and Harvest Moon: Boy/Girl.  Meh, I’m trading it back in.  I should have bought Ghost in the Shell instead.

I’m supposed to be making a mix CD for someone, but I get so self-conscious.  What if this person hates my taste in music, and then reacts funny?
